Charlie was born in Les-Cayes. His family were very poor. One day his father sent him to the market and on Charlie’s way back home he fell down and hurt himself. His father took him to Doctors Without Borders. While Charlie was being treated his father left and abandoned him there. The staff at Doctors Without Borders brought Charlie to the St. Joseph Family and asked us to take him in.
Charlie is a quiet boy who has a beautiful smile. He loves to color and is constantly asking for coloring books and crayons. He shares the coloring books he is given with his friends at St. Joseph’s.
Last year Charlie went to school for the first time and attended a preschool in the neighborhood of St. Joseph’s. He loved school and is excited to go to regular school this year.
