Knowing who to give your hard earned dollars to is sometimes
difficult, we at Heirloom Crafters understand this. We ourselves do a
number of things for the community, but there are people who abuse those trusts.
So in an effort to help, we have created this page with links to websites with
Charity Checkers. There are some national links and as we discover state
links we will add them so you can check your local as well as national charities
and be sure you are giving your dollars to the right people.

State Charity Checkers
Please Note: Not
all States offer a searchable database, some are using PDF files or simple HTML
pages to show registered charities in their state, or only provide information
and how to contact them by phone. There is a 10 state
initiative being started that will put those 10 states together into a
searchable database for local charities in the future. States that are
listed with a (Nothing offered at this time) notation, means they do not have
anything on-line to search or discussing locally based charities. The
links to these states are then directed to the Contact Us pages where you can
call the Consumer Protection Division and speak with someone directly concerning
your charity.
