Welcome to Heirloom Photography, home of PawPrints by Chris Matthews. PawPrints’ slogan is Art With a Mission, and it‘s a slogan I take seriously. Our goal is to donate a portion of our print sales to help the St Joseph’s Family in Haiti, an orphanage program to help displaced youth. The picture you see to the right is when I was in Haiti in 2008. The children with me are Josephine and David. They are only 2 of the over 100 children in this amazing program.
In addition to selling our prints, we offer them on lotka paper as greeting cards. The lotka paper we use does wonderful things to our images. It gives them a warm tone you just can't get on standard white paper, and it is incredibly durable. We have used it as coasters, got it wet, hung it in the sun along with other torture tests and it held up beautifully. The best part is not only is it durable, but it is also eco-friendly and socially conscious. The lotka bush regenerates itself and the resulting paper helps support a village in Nepal.
